So much to say about this one, I think the traditional path to success has already been removed for us, it's only applicable if you intend to head back home. If you remain within the metropolitan country you moved to, school isn't a must, the pathways so varied that you can achieve with only dedication. My choice to attend college was because I want the knowledge, the degree is so the world knows that I have it. Our parents did the whole school thing because it are starting their careers much, much easier in the islands and their goals were to go back their to live, so I guess those who had the means to send us off to school did so thinking of lifting the floor for us to make the bar closer, but again it comes to what your own goals are to define success. I feel that the island mindset of what a successful life is in those metropolitan countries based on media is what corrupts our thinking. Also, I think tiny homes will be big in the Caribbean, based on the shift in the youth and their spending.
